About the Memoir
This book is an offering to the Living Earth and to the creative force that moves through all beings. It arises from the knowing that Earth is not a resource, but a collaborator—one who supports, teaches, and creates with us in every act of making. Fire, Water, Air, and Earth are not metaphors, but sacred relatives, present in all creative processes and in the shaping of our lives.
Through memoir, reflection, and artistic practice, this work explores creativity as a form of relationship rather than extraction. Bead making, painting, sculpting, and all acts of fabrication emerge from elemental partnership, whether we name it or not. The question is not whether the Earth is involved in our creations, but whether we are participating consciously, reverently, and with care.
This book invites artists and readers to remember art-making as a ritual, the studio as a sacred space, and life itself as a ceremony. Rooted in eco-feminist values of reciprocity, embodiment, and devotion, it calls us back into right relationship with Mother Earth—where creating becomes an act of listening, tending, and co-creating a life that honors the living world.
